STENS New 265-665 OEM Replacement Belt for John Deere X300-X540 M172924, M154897 265-665 – The Home Depot
Got off and sure enough, the drive belt was broken. Looked up the part number, called mother Deere, they had one. Picked it up and the parts man said “this is a pain in the rear to change, my advise pick up lots of beer on the way home”. Got home (no beer), took off the mower deck, crawled under there to discover why the belt failed.

STENS New 265-665 OEM Replacement Belt for John Deere X300-X540 M172924, M154897 265-665 – The Home Depot Tractor. Kubota B7510. I replaced the transaxle pulley, transaxle belt, and idler pullys on a JD 2009 X300. I took pics and wrote the whole process down in case I needed to do it again because there is no info anywhere about it. Not sure if I’m any help, but I attached two pics of the transaxle belt installed as they run thru the idler pulleys.
